Congratulations to our band members who recently won auditions to earn spots in All-District Band. In February, they will join other top players from public and private schools across the county as they sight-read, rehearse and perform challenging selections under the direction of a nationally-recognized conductor.

CONGRATULATIONS to Alumni/Current STCS family the Carlins! The brothers played in the MEN’S Club Championship at Belmont Country Club this past weekend and had an amazing tournament! Drew (STCS ’18) played in the highest division from the gold tees and won the top flight by 4 strokes; Will (STCS ’22) finished in 1st place from the white tees with a 69 (!); and John (STCS ’23) came in 4th – Congratulations to all three, and shout out to sister Natalie (STCS ’20) & parents!

Ashburn youth unleashes Knot Perfect dog toys to help feed the hungry Austin Baron stood in the rain for hours, his colorful homemade dog toys arrayed on the table in front of him. But few people stopped to see what he was selling. When the seventh grader left the outdoor event, many of his toys were unsold. Despite this disappointing reception, Baron did not give up....
To commemorate this solemn anniversary, Fr. Hudgins led our school community in prayer and a moment of silence on Friday. Bishop Burbidge will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, September 11th, at 9:00am at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, followed by recitation of the Rosary.
