Welcome to Crossroads! Our vision is to transform the world one person, one family, and one community at a time by offering all people an unlimited welcome, God’s unconditional love, and an unwavering hope for the future.
We are more than a Sunday morning church. We exist to serve the community and beyond seven days a week with God’s unconditional love. We do this through acts of serving in our everyday lives. We gather in a variety of ways with people no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. We welcome and affirm all persons and celebrate diversity within race, physical abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religious beliefs. Everyone is fully loved by God. You belong here.
Operating as usual
Exodus 23:4-5 When you happen to come upon your enemy’s ox or donkey that has wandered off, you should bring it back to them. When you see a donkey that belongs to someone who hates you and it’s lying down under its load and you are inclined not to help set it free, you must help set it free.
Morning Prayer: God, help me to go out of my way to help people who may have hurt me or wronged me in some way. This scripture is so practical and so pointed; it speaks straight to our human potential to behave in petty ways when we feel we have been wronged. Your wise counsel reminds me that kindness and acts of compassion should never be conditional on how I feel about someone. May I take this to heart today and every day so that I can more fully love the people of this world and be a living example of Your unconditional love toward all people. May it be so.
Morning Focus: Seek out opportunities to show kindness and compassion today.

Proverbs 3:23 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
Morning Prayer: God, sometimes I get so caught up in the challenges of my own life that I fail to give proper attention to others. Help me be mindful of the needs of others. Not only is it the right and just thing to do, it helps me put my own challenges into perspective. In helping others realize they are not alone, I am reminded that I am not alone. You are as close as my breath; I have so many friends who are there for me. Now let me be that kind of friend for others. May it be so.
Morning Focus: Stay aware of those on the margins who need an advocate. Be present to them; they are your siblings in Christ.
Psalm 139:11-12 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You.
Morning Prayer: I rejoice, God, for Your consistency, Your relentless presence. No matter what I may be going through, You are unwavering. So often, I feel untethered, navigating the full spectrum of emotions and experiences. How quickly I can change, pinballing from joyous to distraught, from bored to elated, from stressed to confident, in a single day. You, God, are the same across light and darkness. You are a steady anchor for me to grab hold of, as the world whips around me and within me. May my day be illuminated by Your loving light. May it be so.
Morning Focus: You are not alone. Carry this truth with you today and allow it to guide your interactions with others.

Mark 5:18-20 While he was climbing into the boat, the one who had been demon-possessed pleaded with Jesus to let him come along as one of his disciples. But Jesus wouldn’t allow it. “Go home to your own people,” Jesus said, “and tell them what the Lord has done for you and how he has shown you mercy.” The man went away and began to proclaim in the Ten Cities all that Jesus had done for him, and everyone was amazed.
Morning Prayer: God, what a gift You have given us in the life and stories of Jesus. We see Your compassionate heart for all people, searching for those ignored or mistreated, and calling them forward with deep love. We too have been redeemed, and like the man Jesus healed, You instruct us to return home to our own people, our own communities, and share that same love. Our individual stories become a part of Your larger story, one of reconciliation and wholeness. Today, give me an eye for seeking out others and a heart for extending welcome and care to them. Shine out from me, oh God, so that I can remind Your people they are seen and loved. May it be so.
Morning Focus: In what places is it harder for you to actively demonstrate love? Ask the Spirit to support you in that practice today.
Stick around tomorrow after worship to celebrate the start of summer! There will be games, food, and fun! Rain or shine!
James 3:17-18 The wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
Morning Prayer: God, may I be intentional in my dealings with other people, and let the words from my mouth be truth-filled and loving. Help me to look at each person as one of your beloved children. Whether a close friend or someone I have never met, allow me to see each person as You see them. Empower me to act from a place of love and lovingly speak the truth. I need only look to Jesus’ example to see Your love in action. Let me pattern my dealings with others as You direct, with truth and love. May it be so.
Morning Focus: Acting and speaking the truth from a place of love takes practice and intention. Commit today to trying to do so more often.

2 Timothy 2:15 Make an effort to present yourself to God as a tried-and-true worker, who doesn’t need to be ashamed but is one who interprets the message of truth correctly.
Morning Prayer: God, as I get up this morning I think about how I am presenting myself to You, and how I am presenting myself to others. When others see me, do my words and actions identify me as a follower of Jesus? As I go about the business of my day – working, relaxing, eating, spending time with others - am I mindful to act and speak with love? What are my motivations when I converse with others? Am I listening thoughtfully to what others are saying, or am I consumed with what I want to say? When a time comes to have a challenging conversation, are the words I speak spoken in Your love? Help me to listen to You and to listen to others, then act and speak accordingly, always in truth, always in love. May it be so.
Morning Focus: How are you presenting yourself to God and to all God’s children today?
Psalm 25:20-21 Please protect my life! Deliver me! Don’t let me be put to shame because I take refuge in you. Let integrity and virtue guard me because I hope in you.
Morning Prayer: God, I call out to You to keep me on the right path. I desire to honor You and I trust that You will guide me to the way of integrity and virtue. As I walk through this day, I ask for Your wisdom to permeate my words. I never want to miss an opportunity for Your love and grace to speak through me. May it be so.
Morning Focus: How might you take a bold step in faith today knowing that God goes before you and beside you?
Who wears it better, Evan Hansen or Pastor Tim? Come check out week one of our new message series Summer on Broadway this Sunday, June 12th at 10am to hear how themes from this iconic musical can resonate with all of us.
John 17:17-19 Jesus prayed, Make them holy in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. I made myself holy on their behalf so that they also would be made holy in the truth.
Morning Prayer: God, Jesus prayed for us, his followers, to be sent into the world to love, serve and share the powerful, life-changing truth of Your love for us. Today I pray for the strength to keep this commission in front of me each day. I want to be reminded every morning to walk in Your truth, serve by Your truth and authentically love as You love. May it be so.
Morning Focus: You are sent to share the good news of God’s love for all people. Watch for every opportunity to be God’s embodied love.
1 Peter 1:22-23 As you set yourselves apart by your obedience to the truth so that you might have genuine affection for your fellow believers, love each other deeply and earnestly. Do this because you have been given new birth—not from the type of seed that decays but from seed that doesn’t. This seed is God’s life-giving and enduring word.
Morning Prayer: God, in You I have new life, a life that I awaken to each day, one that is forever. And in this new life I know a new truth. In this life I open myself to loving You and receiving Your unconditional and endless love. In this life I open myself to loving all of Your children, not just those who look, think and believe as I do, but all Your children without exception. This is not always easy for me so I pray that as I awaken each day, I am reminded and resolved to love as You do. May it be so.
Morning Focus: Embrace the truth of your life in God. Share God’s love with all you encounter today. Speak truth in love.
