What motivates us to come to church? The awesome love of God, who came down to earth. We come to church because God came to earth.
God has blessed us & placed us in the lives of others that we might be a blessing to them. That's how Jesus lived: He had it all, but lived for others.

I am in need of some prayer and assistance this week and was wondering if you all would be willing to help support me this week. Over the last month, my family has been working through a difficult move. We were in the home stretch of moving things over last week and planned to have a few of our close friends help us move furniture and boxes for the final push, but our trailer driver backed out and the numbers for helping hands are dwindling! I wanted to put this request out sooner when I saw my family lacked the help we needed to move, but I was waiting for the OK from my mother to proceed. Given how much we have to move and how little help we now have, she finally said “We need all the help we can get!”
With that said, I am now turning to you, my church family, to ask for a helping hand. We have a moving truck ready to rock, a few hands to help thus far, but we are in need of a few more. If you have a few hours to spare to give my family and I a hand, we would appreciate all of the help we can get! We’ll feed you lunch, and if need be dinner, but any time you can spend with us in Manassas between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM on Saturday we will be grateful. Feel free to reach out to me via Facebook if you are interested in helping out.
The last thing I will ask of you, church family, is prayer. My family and I have been going through a rough patch as I grow to be a young adult, and I am working on creating a relationship with my sisters and mother that will hopefully carry for the years to come. Please pray for the move and pray for my family as we learn to grow into this new season of life that the Lord has set upon us!

Our February Initiative has turned into an ongoing service opportunity! For the rest of 2022 (and beyond!), we are partnering with Mosaic Pregnancy Center to bless and care for moms in Loudoun County.
One important way to support the healing and relational work that Mosaic is doing in our community is by purchasing items from their baby registry and donating them to the women in their care. It’s as simple as going to Amazon.com, clicking on Gifting & Registry (in the main drop down menu > See All Programs and Features > Gifting & Registry), typing in Mosaic Virginia, then clicking on their baby registry. You can also click on the link here and it will take you there. By meeting some of their material needs, we get to step into these women’s stories and show them the love and kindness of Christ!
At the heart of King’s Cross Church is a passion and motivation to serve the people in our neighborhoods and immediate community—the love of Christ compels us to go out into the world and love others! This partnership with Mosaic is an invitation to love our neighbors through generous giving, and we hope you’ll say “yes” to it.
