February/March teaching series: Foundations of Faith
Hebrews 11:6 states the importance of faith in our lives when it plainly states: “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” Based that reality, there are serious ramifications for each of us in our day to day life based on our relationship with and understanding of faith. In this series, we are going back to some of the basics to explore faith. What is it? What it is not? How much faith do I need in my life? What does it mean to have great faith? Join us and let’s take the journey into some of the foundational components of faith.

God is a God of rhythm. He put rhythm in creation. The sun, moon, each season, it all moves with a dynamic and rhythmic pattern to enable the miracle of life and beauty in our world. God has a rhythm for our lives as well. If we allow him to be the composer and conductor of our lives, he knows how to lead us to joy and fulfillment.
However, too often we break pace with God to go after a purpose and it costs us in ways such as burnout, broken relationships, and more. Life is just as much about pace as it is purpose, and it is just as much about rhythm as it is reward. The two are interconnected in a delicate balance.
As we begin a new year, let’s check our rhythm and make sure we are in step with God because the rhythm and patterns in our life are gonna get us … for good or bad.
Join us this Sunday at 10am as we kick off our new series: Rhythm is Gonna Get You

The Lord — who is the Spirit — makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
This month at Destiny Kids, we will be making the connection between individuality and God's character, as shown through God's big story - Individuality is a reflection of the character of God!
In Genesis 1:26-28, we read that when God created people, God did something special. We reflect God’s image to the world. This doesn’t mean that we physically look like God. Instead, we demonstrate what God is like in the way we create and imagine, show love and kindness, seek justice, and offer mercy. We get to fill the earth with God’s goodness, each in our own individual way.
We hope to help kids understand that being made in the image of God means we can love, show kindness, be creative, solve problems, and care for others—all because we reflect and respond to God’s character. Kids will get to explore how they can reflect God’s image to the people in their world.

"The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing." - John 6:63
This weekend we launch a new teaching series: Holy Ghost. Too often this topic has brought confusion, misunderstanding, and even fear to many followers of Jesus. The Holy Ghost is God, and God is good. He has not come to spook us, He has come to help us. Join us Sunday as we begin to look at what the Scripture says about living a naturally supernatural life.
See you tomorrow at 9am for First Saturday Prayer. We can’t wait for this dedicated time with God.
We will not have childcare, but kids are welcome!
